The Radisson Collection Hotel is located in Moscow, on Kutuzovsky Avenue in one of Stalin’s skyscrapers.

The hotel was part of Khrushchev’s gift set prepared for the USSR in the year of the 300th anniversary of Ukraine’s entry into Russia.

Like all skyscrapers, the future “Ukraine” was laid down in 1947, but it really began to be built only in 1953.

At the time of opening (and until 1976) “Ukraine” was the highest hotel in the world (206 m).

When the hotel was opened, there was luxury inside, and outside shacks and dilapidated factories — a standard picture of Moscow of those times.

In 2005, the hotel was privatised, reconstructed and transferred to the management of the Radisson chain.

In total, the hotel has about 500 rooms and 40 apartments for long stays.

A few years ago, one of the room took part in a collaboration with the Mercedes-Maybach brand.

The interior of this room is made of materials similar or identical to the Maybach interior.

In every detail of the room you can see a piece of this brand.
